Music Codes Are Not Redeem Codes
This confuses almost everyone, so let's clear it up first: music codes do not give you cash, cars, or items. A music code is a Roblox audio asset ID. You paste it into a boombox (or a car radio, where supported) and it plays that song in-game.
If you are looking for free rewards, you want active redeem codes instead. If you want music while cruising, keep reading.
How to Use a Music Code
- Get a boombox item that supports custom audio.
- Open its input box and paste the numeric song ID exactly — one wrong digit plays the wrong track or nothing at all.
- If nothing plays, the audio asset was likely made private or removed for copyright. This happens constantly; it is not a bug in your game.
Why Music Codes "Stop Working"
Unlike redeem codes (which expire on a schedule), music IDs die for a different reason: the underlying audio file gets deleted or set to private, usually over copyright. A list from three months ago will be mostly dead. Prefer recently verified lists and test an ID before a car meet, not during it.
Finding Current IDs
- Roblox audio search and the creator marketplace, filtered to public audio.
- Community posts dated within the last few weeks — anything older, assume half the IDs are dead.
- The Discord community often has a music-sharing channel with fresher IDs than static lists.
